Update 12-07-09

The Furniture Page     I guess I should show you some of the crazy things I bought and put in the house. I'm almost done with the lighting in the front part of the house. I need one hanging light that goes with the fixture that I had to bring from the U.S.  I just ordered my kitchen cabinets (upper only), so I hope to get them next week. And I have the tile for the kitchen counters, but I need to get a tile cutter so I can install them. If I can't, I'll have to have someone put them in which is a pain because then the guy will be here for 3 days. I've been buying the armoires and cabinets etc. already made because I'm tired of having custom made stuff built. It was fun in the beginning, but it's more expensive and all the cabinets look almost like they were cookie cutter made. They kind of look the same in everyone's houses, give or take some details.  So I'm opting for crazy looking stuff that most other gringos might think is a little too rustica. Wait until you see my kitchen cabinets. Wait 'til I see them. The finished product could be different than the desired result.
