JOURNEYS BY PAUL Main Index (Scroll for earlier adventures) Building a House in Costa Rica It's July 28th, most of the work on the house is internal so I haven't written anything or posted any pics. The tile should go in this week, then paint, then toilets, sinks, rain gutters and a little landscaping. I hope it's done in about 2 weeks. I don't mind the house building but I'm getting a little tired of living in a cloud forest while the work is done. Page 5 is the last page for now. Toulouse, Carcassonne, Orange, Provence, Lyon, Annecy, Dijon
Driving down the Yucatan coast to Puerto Morelos, Tulum, Valladolid and other places. Scuba diving and snorkeling the reefs and sacred cenotes, and just hanging out on the beach, wasting away.
Lots of driving on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica visiting some surf spots I'd been to, and other ones that I had not been to.
The French adventure vacation began Oct 2, 2006, in Nice, France, on the French Riviera, then I traveled up through the Provence countryside to Grenoble, then to the height of the Alps at Chamonix to finish up with a nice bicycle ride through the autumnal vineyards near Beaune, Burgundy (Bourgogne).
After selling my house in Northern California, I bought a '66 VW bug and drove across the country to New Hampshire. Later, in September, I drove my normal car to the Carolinas to try and catch some surf from an Atlantic hurricane.
